THE ALEXANDRA PLAYERS have been busy behind the scenes as we begin bringing our next production, HAPPY FAMILIES by John Godber, to life!
Last week, members of the team gathered at The Alexandra Hall to start work on building the set for this wonderfully entertaining play — and it’s fantastic to see the first pieces of the world of HAPPY FAMILIES beginning to take shape.
Written by acclaimed playwright John Godber, HAPPY FAMILIES takes a look at family, relationships and the chaos that can unfold when the past comes knocking. Full of humour, warmth and plenty of familiar family moments, it promises to be a show that will have audiences laughing, reflecting, and perhaps recognising a little bit of their own families along the way!
