STEEL MAGNOLIAS is a stage play by Robert Harling that explores the lives of six women in a small Louisiana town. The story revolves around the strong bonds of friendship and support they share, as they navigate life’s joys and sorrows. Central to the plot is the relationship between M’Lynn and her daughter Shelby, whose battle with diabetes ultimately leads to a tragic event. The play highlights themes of love, loss, and resilience, blending humour with heartfelt moments.
