Our next production is A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED<\/strong> by Agatha Christie.<\/p>\n

PRODUCTION DATES<\/strong><\/span>
\n7.00pm-10.30pm – Wednesday 30th, Thursday 31st May, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd June<\/p>\n

THE SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/span>
\nAn announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock’s Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house’s several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death, a determined Inspector grimly following the twists and turns, and Miss Marple on hand to provide the final solution at some risk to herself in a dramatic confrontation just before the final curtain.<\/p>\n

Due to our younger male members being unavailable for this production, we are looking to fill the roles listed below.<\/p>\n

We will be performing the play over 4 nights during the May\/June 2018 half term holidays from Wednesday 30th May until Saturday 2nd June.<\/p>\n

Auditions and casting for the other roles have already taken place but if you are interested in a part, please do get in touch and we will invite you along to our next meeting (these take place on Wednesday evenings) in Charlton.<\/p>\n

Please send through the appropriate criteria – a picture and phone number – along with any links to videos you may wish to share with us of yourself performing (though this is not essential).<\/p>\n

If we are happy with your submission, you will be invited to attend our next meeting.<\/p>\n

REHEARSAL DATES<\/strong><\/span>
\nRehearsals on Wednesday evenings have already begun.<\/p>\n

There will also be rehearsals on Friday evenings too which will commence a few weeks before the production opens.<\/p>\n

EDMOND SWETTENHAM<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Upper class. An out of work writer with nothing yet published; serious and pretentious; son to Mrs Sweetenham; playing age around 26 or 27. “Foreign” looking with dark hair (black or dark brown) but he is quite British.<\/p>\n

Males, aged 25 to 30 from London, United Kingdom<\/p>\n

Minimum Acting experience: No previous acting experience<\/p>\n

\u2605 Ethnicity: White \/ Caucasian
\n\u2605 Skin color: Olive
\n\u2605 Hair color: Black or Dark Brown
\n\u2605 Hair length: Short<\/p>\n

RUDI SCHERZ<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A very, very, very small part. Young Swiss national. Aggressive and menacing.<\/p>\n

Males, aged 18 to 40 preferably local to Charlton<\/p>\n

Minimum Acting experience: No previous acting experience<\/p>\n
