Following a tough but fabulous read-through by members who attended the meeting last Wednesday evening, we are pleased to report that after much deliberation, casting can now be announced for our October production of Season’s Greetings, which opens at The Alexandra Hall in October.

Season’s Greetings is a play that was written in 1980 by British playwright Alan Ayckbourn.

Juliette Harrison will direct the often farcical, black comedy about four days in the life of a dysfunctional family. Starting on Christmas Eve, the play is set in an average English suburban household.

New additions to the cast include Ryan Hutchings and Mark Campbell.

They join returning members Roy Moore, Keith Hartley, Alex Parker, Mark Higgins, Janet Denne, Rose Bayley and Sue McGeehan.

Rehearsals start next week and tickets will be available for you to book and reserve online, by email or telephone soon.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came along to the read-through and if it was your first time coming along to meet us, we do hope that you will return and try out for out next production in February.

Backstage roles will also be available for Season’s Greetings so please feel free to come along on Wednesday 30th August at 8pm as your support and help will be invaluable and hugely appreciated.

Season’s Greetings will run at The Alexandra Hall from the 25th – 28th October 2017.
