TIMESHARE | Feed-Back To The Future

After an initially wobbly start on opening night due to first night nerves and low audience numbers, The Alexandra Players are pleased to announce that the London and World Premiere of Timeshare was another brilliant success!

Philip Ayckbourn along with his partner, family members and a few of his friends came along to join us for the final performance on Saturday 4th July and left immensely pleased and satisfied with our interpretation of this brand new and unpublished play.

As a result of our efforts, Philip was kind enough to suggest that he might entrust us with more plays in the future – so be sure to watch this space!

Despite a rather cutting and poor review which was also inaccurate in its analysis of the plot by a reviewer who came to see the show on opening night, The Players fought on and after 3 nights performing to a packed hall, we closed to rapturous applause.

Thank you very much to everyone that came along to support us and to all of those who took the time to speak with us after the performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Thank you also for all of the wonderful comments and messages of support we received from our faithful followers and attendees via our social media pages – here are just a few…

We do hope that you will all come back and join us again soon in October, when our next production will be The Flint Street Nativity by Tim Firth.
